Some pink tower and brown stairs extensions

D and I together did some pink tower/brown stairs extensions.  These two have been sitting untouched for quite some time in our school room.  Doing this has revived some interest, plus I am planning to print these pictures and have them for future reference.

We found these at our favorite sites in the montessori blog world!

  1. Thank you for the wonderful post! It has inspired my 5 y.o. who is now doing pink tower/brown stair extensions as I type! :)

  2. You are welcome! The sensorial area, except for the monomial and binomial cubes is the neglected area of our school room! Another child working on these usually does the trick for D too!

  3. Awesome extensions! The pink tower and brown stairs can easily be underused unless extensions are added. Great idea to print out the pictures for future inspiration! Glad to be visiting from Montessori Monday! Deb @ LivingMontessoriNow.com

  4. Very nice! I will have to show them to Short Pants; he always loves seeing what other kids have made with the pink tower and brown stair.

  5. Thanks for sharing all these great extensions! JR has been experimenting with them this week so I shared a link to your post on Montessori MOMents. I hope you're having a great summer!

  7. Very cool, I was going to use the pictures in my class but unfortunately, the materials are not on a rug so I can't :( Keep up the good work!
